I just bought this one a couple of weeks back, my first XS. Previous owner, had the topp ported and, new ignition system and charge system installed. plus the carbs are change to a set from a newer bike.
So far everything seems to be working as it should.

The starter motor has been removed, and supposedly been plug, it looks like this right now. Is it suppose to be a large cover plate to cover all of it as well?

Looks very nice Andre - but I suspect you need some sort of cover over that hole left by the missing starter.

    Cheer and welcome!

Thanks man! Yeah I had a buddy of mine does Fab work take the original tank and change it up for me. Most people cut out the sides and then re weld them in but he actually fabbed some new sides up for this tank.

IMG_0838.JPG Here's a before pic of when I bought the bike last year. It was in a shed for years. I overpaid a little for it but the thing ran and seemed fine mechanically. Good compression. Didn't have to mess much with engine or trans.

    Millstream Conservation Area.
Couldn't find the mill or much of a stream. Will have to check some more of the back roads next time I'm passing thru that way.

Very nice She's all decked out for long rides with that luggage rack. Looks like you can even have a passenger on there, very nice.
