Ride it? haha. Pma, clean up the electrical and i wanna do SOMETHING with the right and left covers. Either polished or painted. i like the way black ones look.

I've been following this thread for a while so I figured I might as well post mine. Anyone have any experience riding in the snow? I'll be getting snow here in just a few weeks. Is it insane for me to try to ride in it?
Snow? Whats that? Few weeks? Is that something that happens when it's hot? Or when leaves fall out of the trees?

I've ridden in the snow and yes it's insane. You can't shift gears with snow skies on your feet. Maybe you should build outriggers?

You know, I might actually do that. I think it'd make for one sweet ride. Maybe I'll put on chunkier tires too, or just drill some studs into the ones I have. Decisions, decisions.
That's one sweet tracker, I love the hide-away headlight!

Back to square one on the geometry...stock forks and shocks. Bike is happier = I'm happier. Handling is great..... yeah, I remember the tight, leaning fast turns and they're back.

1978 I started back in October 2010. Quick photoshoot I did. Another one on the way
I've always been an OEM kinda guy (not into custom 650s), but I gotta admit this caught my eye (in a good way). I like the colours and overall design.

Here's my 650 under construction, started as a '79 Special. Still have a long way to go, but the front and rear suspension are done, 4 position rear sets are 90% done. Rear ride height is adjustable, has about 6" rear wheel travel. Rear is raised, rake is now 24 degrees. Haven't touched the engine yet, plan to rephase and go to 750cc.
