Here is my new to me ride. Been wanting a street bike for years now, but told myself I was not mature enough to have one. Finally decided it was time, and picked this up from my fathers buddy.

1982 heritage special with 5800 miles on it. I got it for $500, and have ~$100 into misc stuff to get it running. Needs some rubber and some TLC but I have put ~100 miles on it in the last 4 days and seems pretty solid.

It also came with a sister heritage special, as part of the deal. As in I had to take both to get the one. It is locked up and has seen better days, but I have big plans for it 'one day' Just got to finish my 69 corvette resto mod, and my Jeep build first.

Here are a few quick shots.

Grabs the sawzall and waits by the phone. LOL

Got this back in the spring, first motorcycle. Tore a whole bunch of stuff off of it. I got a little carried away. It was completely stock with 10k miles. Ended up having to rejet the carb, added the pamco kit from mikes, coil, tci and pma.i still need air filters, ordered the ones that block the front ports! Still have a small leak from right carb, I've cleaned a set floats and could get it perfect but to a minimum. Now that its running prob gonna do a few small things and just enjoy riding. I would love to paint it but...

UPDATE TO 2746 & 2755.
Saturday got it fired up and running (note was between 8 and 10 yrs since last started per the OG owner) ran rough (found out choke was stuck half way closed) freed up choke with WD40 put in new plugs and it ran well , really well for as long as it had been setting.
it ran thru about 1/2 gallon VP race gas and LUCAS fuel treatment (all I had at the time).
restarted it sunday again ran good no leaks no noise no smoke HELL YA!!!
today I went to AAA and 10 minutes and $115.00 later it was fully calif registered (number matching bike with OG 1980 title) again HELL YA.
parts orders went out to TC bros choppers (hardtail) monster craftsman ( alien center fill tank/cap/tank bung kit/petcocks/powell & peralta chain tensioner) J & P cycles ( ing switch and drag bars) another TC bros choppers order tonight for iron cross tail light/license plate mount and a few little things.
and yes i'm excited about the whole deal.
