Looking for a Thumper

I'm looking for a running and titled Yamaha XT500 or a Honda XL500 single for my Nortn Manx Replical project. If you know of any please let me know. Want to buld somehing like this.

Of course the muffler appears to copy the BSA Goldstar, another big Brit thumper with a glorious past. Another on my list for your build would be an SR500. The entire front end is the same as the XS.

Jim, what you're looking at there is a Honda GB500 in near-stock trim--minor changes to paint, lighting, seat, and exhaust, mostly bolt-on stuff. They're rare--didn't get a very long production run. As Tom says, the Yamaha SR500 single would make a very good platform for your project--ditching the boat anchor cast wheels for something lighter and better looking wouldn't be much of a challenge.

Thanks those GB's abd S's are faily pricey - I'm looking for a base bike on the cheap.
