Wanted - looking for cheap original 650,,,,

I have a 79 xs650 special but im thinking of putting it up for 1,200... All original except air filters and handle bars. I can send a pic if you are interested. I'm in Omaha NE

Something of interest-- A friend brought me a Carb set to look at from a "83 650 special with 45, that's what we were told, miles. They were from a co-worker. They were not the worse I have ever seen. They were extremely varnished. Diaphragms intact. He didn't leave the carbs, the co-worker did not want to spend over $100. They stunk up the garage so bad I had to open it and let my ac'd air out last night. Said the tank was laced with holes. I have resurrected bikes such as this and know what it involves. Told him to let his co-worker know that I may be interested in buying the bike. we will see.
