Hey guys, I am trying to find out where I can get the brake pipe that comes out of the caliper for my 73. The one that was on there was bent and cracked. Any suggestions?
Thanks
MikesXS, or in your case XS Direct, sells a replacement but it's straight and will need to be bent to shape. It's a steel line so that might be difficult (without kinking it). Personally, I would make my own replacement using NiCopp line. It's a nickel copper alloy brake line, easy to bend, and will never rust.
I can't seem to find the steel line on XS650direct. There is an upper steel line for the 74-76 and thats the closest I can find there. I will take a look for the NiCopp lines. Thanks for the advice!
Take what you have to most any auto parts store. Look at the brake lines they sell. You should find one that has the ends that match what you have.
Might want to replace the rubber lines as well.
