Los Angeles Area Mechanic

I am very intimate with my bike, as some of you may know. Moved from Virginia to LA a few months ago and damn if my shifting problem doesn't annoy the absolute shit our of me.

When I rev quick, it will lock in a gear or get to the point where I can't shift out of the gear it gets stuck on. This also happens randomly while riding. I have to slow down and let the wheel actually stop moving before it will resume it's normal operating mode. I have adjusted the clutch on various occasions and just fed up to be perfectly honest.

I know the last thing any of want to do is take the bike to someone, but I just need someone to help me figure this out. Anyone in the area or know of a skilled xs person who might be able to lend an ear?

There are two guys listed in the travel assistance section in CA but one is in San Diego and the other in San Francisco. Other than that, there is a mobile motorcycle tech that might be able to help you out. He seems to have some good reviews online.
