Thanks for sharing your upholstery project. It inspired me to try it myself also. I'm kinda happy with what I did but it ain't as mice as yours.. I was stumped with the bottom seams and sewing method and just used gorilla duct tape underneath. I will be calling a pro for the next one. But for now, its holding up. Thanks for the inspiration.

i think it looks great...both of them! i used that same vinyl on my interceptor and it does hold up to the years. i went fiberglasses base and house carpet padding built up and shaved down for the cushion. worked well, but i like yours for the weather resistance appeal. great job guys

What thickness did you use on the sheet metal? Did it hold up just fine all year?
