Magura 225.52 hydraulic clutch master

If it's the same as my Magura (167) master cylinder then it uses an M10X1.00 convex taper fitting.

There is a concave taper in the bottom of the hole that it seals against.

tonyc that master cylinder matches the looks of the stock brake master cylinder pretty well? Everything I seeing is saying the threads are M10 x 1.0 indicating a banjo bolt is used?

@mrriggs are you using the HYMEC system? And that would be the difference in couplings?
If you are using it how do you like it? Looks like it is the real deal and not a cheap knock off.

@everyone else this is the link if you want to peruse.

You could use a banjo bolt, the threads are the same. However, the face of my master is not machined flat for a banjo crush washer. If your 225 master is the same then you will need to file/sand it flat to prevent leaks.

Also, master cylinders made for banjo fittings typically have little fingers cast in to prevent the hose from turning the bolt.

I'm only using the HYMEC master. Designed my own slave cylinder.
