Forest Lake, MN. I had a friend of mine drive my 81 XS to Forest Lake this last Sat. & enter my bike in the show. $10 entry fee went to missionary work with the church so I thought at least a good cause..I couldn't make the show personally as my 12 yr old had a soccer tourney & I had a wedding that afternoon. So I get a call from the Pastor, Mike Haseltine & he asked if I could leave the bike until Sunday as they were having the "Blessing of the Bikes" that day. No problem on my end. So I show up for the 10:30 service, the band starts up and all of a sudden from the back of the church the XS is roaring to life & the Pastor drives in and rips, yes rips around the inside & parks the bike on the alter. People went nutz. as it turns out the XS won 1st place in the rat bike division! Fun time..great church...
