I wonder if I could trouble someone to give me the measurement from the front of a Special tank to the back edge of the badge mounting dimple (behind the screw hole)?

The spare tank I have has that part filled in with bondo.

I get 9 and 3/8ths". Excavate carefully, that measurement is two G&T's in.

Finally warmed up enough to work in the garage again. We've had the coldest April on record. Made a new mold for the resin badges and needed to know how far back they have to go on a good Special tank to cover the indentation.
