Mikes XS regulator/rectifier=total frustration

Link fixed.........

Already having the Combined Reg/Rect it is worth trying to work it out. Not to put a dampener on them but mikes Reg/Rect have had some mixed results
If it doesn't work out then this is what most are doing.

Reliable and reasonably cheap. 80 and later i for any bike that is running a Factory Ignition, (A Type). 79 and earlier is for any bike that run on points, (B Type)..........i point this out because bikes have been changed from points to Factory Ignition and vise versa

Well I never had the balls to try green to ground and black to brown. All the other combos I have tried. I'll try before tearing out of the bike. I mounted forward of the horn on its bracket.
Thank you for this info. Most of it I've seen. But not green to ground and black to brown. Not returning it anyway. I've had it for some time.

Ricks Motorsports R/R does have that combination. .......Not any other ones unless you have the old MikesXS R/R then it is Power on Brown, (Br), to Blue, (L), and Ground, Black, (B), to Green, (G),
