Mirror thread adapater

I remember way back when there was an adapter to convert the right mirror left hand threads to right hand threads to accept universal mirrors. But I can't find them now. Can anybody help?

Angus,

I believe that only converts left hand metric to right hand english. I need left hand metric 10 mm to right hand metric 10 mm.

You mean use a right hand tap in the left threaded hole? As in tap over the existing left hand threads?

I think that will leave you with a hole with no thread in it

jim, do you need me to stop by and help ya out... I run after-market mirrors. I ran a tap into the threads.... works fine.... there is still plenty of meat in there. if you don't feel comfy doing it, you can see my setup and then make a decision
