Hey guys,

So I pulled my front forks for a couple reasons recently, to replace the fork seals, put on some gaters but mainly because they were skewed and I wanted to see if I could straighten them out. I got them out and then put the fender and wheel back in and tightened up and they were straight, so I roll them up to the trees and they don't seem like they're the right size!

The photos are crap, but if you can tell I've got the left (in the photo) fork lined up in the triple tree, and the right fork is at least a 1/4 inch off! Is this because I've got it all tightened up at the axle and it will work if I loosen it up and slide them in then put it together, or am I missing something?

Thanks!

Yup your assembly order is a bit uhh unusual. Take the wheel back off, put the tubes in the triples then install wheel and axle you should be fine.
