@MaxPete Pete, fair assessment of the SV650. I think you would be riding the rubber off that SV IF you didn't have the XS(s). Can't forget your 1st love.

Everything past the rocker-clutch is a modern motorcycle to me. And anything that lacks a kicker is post-modern, ie gimmickry and over-engineered.

That's a WL lower with sporty uppers. I'd say "modern" enough. Light weight too, considering the frame - and he shoulda used an atlas 4 speed in a swingarm - which I know is doable 'cause ah seen it done.
