More Carb help please

I recently rebuilt my carbs on my 79 xs650 special. i also replaced the clutch cable and the the spark plugs and wires. After i put everything back together the bike will not start... I am getting spark and it does turn but just wont fire. I put mikes XS pods on and bumped the main jets to 140 also.

Any idea what i might have done wrong or anything o might have missed to help me get this bike on the road again?

Have you checked for gas flow? Plug wires going to correct cylinders?

Did the bike start easily before you did the carb re-build?

The engine needs a very rich mixture to start. The choke adds extra fuel to get this rich mixture. Did you read up on how these carbs work, so that you understand the choke circuit?
