Motion pro cable problem

I ordered a clutch and throttle cable from MP for my 77. The clutch cable was fine and even better than stock (thicker cable). This is what I ran into with the throttle cable though(part #05-0012). The stock cable is on the bottom. The odd angle sends the cable downward too much.The new cable is also about 6" shorter than the stocker. Mp said they can put the correct end on but of course I have to send it back and wait,wait, wait. The price you pay for owning a 34yr old bike i guess. Just thought I would pass this along. Mp seems to be a good company to deal with...answered my e-mail right away.

I had them make some custom cables for my yamaha FZ6 (12'' longer than stock ) and they did a good job but took a long time . I thought about buying some cables for my '81 XS650SH maybe I should send them my old cables to copy .

Update: Kudo's to Motion Pro. They sent me a throttle cable with the correct end and didn't even want the old one returned. Great company IMO.
