Probably wouldn't be that hard in Texas...I've heard they are pretty cool about most bikes compared to other states.

Yeah, good ol' Tejas is generally pretty laid back when it comes to bikes. But I was assuming it would be more of a Federal can-o-worms.

It doesn't matter what state you register it in. There is treaty called NAFTA Noth American Free Trade Agreement in place that covers Canada and Mexico.

Didn't know that applied to vehicles. Thought it was more like for the ease of import of bananas and such.
