So my backround is im a Union Welder/Fabricator. Ive been riding street bikes for 6yrs and decided to switch it up a little this year. This thread will not only document my project but serve as a check list for myself.

Funny I just moved from Albany to Phoenix AZ. Hard finding used XS's there. When I got out here I picked one up. Good luck with the project.

every time I see a XS back-half'd I cringe a bit . I'll never quite get over it but I'll attempt to refrain from pissing in your wheaties . In this case it was a basket and you had nowhere else to go but up .

ah i see. This is all new to me, as i ride streetbikes (R1). This is just something to switch it up and bomb around town on.
