My Green Bobber Build

So here it is. My build. I'll start with the donor bike. Pretty roached, but 100 bucks on CL. Not a bad start.

Disassembly. I ended up trading for a frame already hardtailed. One less thing to worry about.

Electrical box, some polished parts, shaved and polished forks. Cole Foster tank and La Rosa seat.

Polished the top triple. Changed out the gussets. Made the lower fender mount.

More fender mounts, and bars a friend of mine made from a set of stock buckhorns.

Seat mounts, rear master mount, rear brake bar, fender struts, coil mounted.

Decided to go batteryless. Using the Sparx capacitor. Mounted it under the seat. My friends call it my dynomite stick.

Tail light/license plate bracket mounted.

Shift linkage and brake linkage done. Reg/Rec mount and chain tensioner.

Found some bends and made the pipes. Just something simple for now.

Pulled it all apart for paint. This is my son pitching in some elbow grease sanding. Also my buddy Joe doing my paint. Primer went on nice.

While that was all drying I taped off the wheels and engine for paint. They came out pretty good for my first paint job. Used VHT high temp gloss on the motor.

The Paint came out awesome.

Engine went back in the frame without scratching the fresh paint. Thank god.

My wife bought me this badass headlight from Crime Scene Choppers to match the tail light.

Made a bracket for the rear master reservoir.

My youngest stayed up late the night i finished assembly. She just had to hear it run. I think it came out nice. It's a fun ass ride. So tell me what y'all think.
