So here it is. My build. I'll start with the donor bike. Pretty roached, but 100 bucks on CL. Not a bad start.

Polished the top triple. Changed out the gussets. Made the lower fender mount.

Decided to go batteryless. Using the Sparx capacitor. Mounted it under the seat. My friends call it my dynomite stick.

Pulled it all apart for paint. This is my son pitching in some elbow grease sanding. Also my buddy Joe doing my paint. Primer went on nice.

While that was all drying I taped off the wheels and engine for paint. They came out pretty good for my first paint job. Used VHT high temp gloss on the motor.

Engine went back in the frame without scratching the fresh paint. Thank god.:thumbsup:
