My heritage special build

Chopped up xs650's add looks to an otherwise broke down, beatup, 30 year old bike...I will never get an xs that I won't chop up! Deal with it haters, these bikes are broke. Chopping is cheaper than restoring, and looks better!

Mounted the sissybar, taillight and headlight today.

Well, you know, I'll be glad when the chopper craze for hacking up an XS650 will come to an end. It seems so ten years ago. But if it's what you want, good luck with it. Looks like it's coming along nicely.
 Try so 40 years ago! Seems like you have a little bit of a wait to go till you see the end

keep hacking em up guys, i like getting stock parts for cheap

i do like the tank and fender, looking forward to seeing it finished.

Hey Joe, That bike is comming along fantastic:thumbsup::thumbsup: I can't belive this is your first effort, it's too nice!

This bike would not be possible without the help of a few good friends. I bought this with the intention of learning basic metal fabrication and it's turning out way cooler then I originally imagined. I'm glad you like it.

Started messing with the Controls, exhaust and we mounted the rectifier.

These are some type of harley passenger pegs.

Im hoping that exhaust will corkscrew around each other and then run up in between the frame and rear tire.

I agree, that's why I'm hanging on to my old stock frames. They should be worth a mint then.

I like the exhaust run right acrossed the cover for the rotor, ought to warm it up quite nicely since they (the rotors) like heat so much, nothing like keeping as much heat in a engine as you can
