need help really bad

so i recently just traded my truck for a 1980 xs650 and when i got the bike i could only run the bike with the charger on the battery. he have me a new pma kit to go with the bike also so i install it exactly how the intrustions said then bought a new battary and now im not getting and fire to my plugs at all. now i dont know what to check

Do you still have the factory tci ignition? if so you will need to swap to points or a pamco set up.

yea i think it is stock ignition

You are right around the corner from ippytattoo and myself. You need to pick up a Pamco. I think I have a complete setup if you wanna buy a used one. I will have to check my parts bin.
