New guy here!

Yup - and the flat beer would be just like what the POMs drink....especially if it was warm.
:D
P
Gawd, Pete,
I hafta tell you Colonials everything , eh?
English beer is flat because it's delivered to the pub in barrels and it's not served warm, it's served at cellar temperature, between 50 & 55ºF.
When I first came to Canada I had to re-educate myself into believing that chilled fizzy rat piss from Molson was an acceptable substitute.

Rickard's Red and Sleeman's Honey Brown my good man.....

Now THATS good beer.

Anyhow - I think that we are hijacking.....:offtopic:

Hi Pete,
it'd only be a hijacking if noodles posted a progress note about his purchase.
What we have here is a successful takeover.
Good? I'd say acceptable. Certainly several steps above Molson's Canadian, Eh?
I used to drink Calgary Stock Ale for the 7% alcohol content but the resultant hangovers weaned me off it.
I've recently taken to Keith's IPA which my few remaining taste buds reckon tastes OK.
Currently my fridge has a 15-pack of Western Original 16 tinnies because it came with a free beer glass.

My father did put his beer in the sun before cracking it, he told me that when he was in the U.K. During WWll, the poms would get a pint if beer and jamb a red hot poker in it to warm it up......maybe it changed the beer chemistry so the t was more potent...:hijack::offtopic:
