Hi all!
I just received my Motolanna seat, and it looks great. On their Facebook page, there is a pic of it installed on an XS. While looking at this, I also noticed they have made a new superlight swing arm, weighing less than 3 kgs. They also still offer the other, boxier swing arm that weighs approx 3.5 kgs. Both are made for the SR 500, but only need to be opened up for the 20 mm XS wheel axle. The new superlight swing arm looks a bit less modern than the boxier one, so now I am seriously considering getting one...

But do any of you know the exact weight of the stock swing arm for a later XS, as mine is a 77-D. If possible including chain adjusters and adjuster blocks and wheel axle.

- Still trying to make mine faster/ better by making it lighter :)

I just went back and looked at some notes. I have a 1980 and for the swing arm and bolt that holds the swing arm to the frame I show 10.6 pounds, the metric conversion shows that equal to 4.8081 KG. Not an expensive scale but probably close, I would not commit to exact!

Good luck.
