New to XS

Hi all, first post here on XS 650. Looks like a great place to learn and meet other 650 owners. For over thirty years ive always wanted to get a bike so finally I ended the dreaming and did some research. I decided on the 650 V-Star for more than just its good looks. I did consider the Honda Shadow but fell in love with the 2014 650 Yamaha the moment I took a seat. So im very excited to ride in the spring as I am new to it all. Looking forward to learning lots here from the cool 650 family members. cheers all.

Not that most people here aren't friendly and a wealth of information but if your looking for information on or about your bike this may not be the resource you wanted.

the forum is geared toward the xs650 bikes Yamaha produced through the 70s and into the early 80s.

you may be better off checking some other forums like these?
