Newbie Question about 34 to 31 rear sprocket

Morning, switching from the stock 34 rear sprocket to the 31 and I currently have the 530 chain with 110 links. So, going from the 34 to 31 rear sprocket, what size chain should I get? Thanks,

should Be able to cut down the chain you already have.

yeah, I thought about that, but that chain is probably 10 years old...figured I would just replace chain while I'm at it.
