Noisy oil pump?

[STVR]

I rebuilt my 75 xs. 650. and just took it out last night
For the first time. Seems to run good there are a few issues. I heard a noise that seem to be near the oil filter
On the crank case. I'm assuming it's an oil pump issue any
Suggestions on trouble shooting to confirm my suspicion?
It sounds like a rocking chair kind of creaking really fast
