Well last year at 8.7-1 compression I drag raced my buddy with his 750 (2007) Honda Shadow....neck in neck.........this year with my 8-1 I beat him by 40 feet............told ya........

Try 6 to 1 and a lawn mower carb, maybe you can beat a Pinto then.

If he doesn't stop the racing his compression with get so low he can beat an R6.

Careful what you say, I have before. In 1975 I rode a recently purchased well used 1971 XS650 from Wisconsin to Florida in March for spring break. It made it down AND back under it's own power. After a few things fell off due to the vibration, the rest of the trip was run without issue. Even got a speeding ticket in Indiana on the way back for 100 in a 60 zone. The trooper let us sign the ticket, and though I got court notices for years I never paid it. I am pretty sure the trooper knew we would never pay.
