Offroad forks for xs650 conversion

I hope I'm doing this right. I've never posted before. I'm planning on building a 650 dualsport from a 77 barn find I just bought. I already have a nice 82 stock, and I do mostly dualsport riding here in Alaska (KLR650 right now). I'd like to find a set of motocross? forks approximately 35 to 36" long with disc brake that would fit my stock XS triple trees. I have the fork swap list already but was hoping someone out there with prior experience could speed up the process. Appreciate any and all help.

Alot of people over at advrider are doing conversions to modern forks. Are you doing something to the rearend as well?

Yes,longer aftermarket shocks,and possibly lengthining the swingarm. Thanks for the response.
