Hey guys just picked up my 650 today. New there was a leak but didn't look major. Barley drips when sitting cold. After I ride for a while and it gets hot and stop and put down the kick stand it has a good amount of oil on it. And leaves about a little bigger than a 50 cent piece size oil mark on the ground and that's about it. Any ideas? Sorry kinda a noob to bikes anything is greatly appreciated.

several typical spots. clutch pushrod seal, front sprocket seal, shift shaft seal or you could have a bit of all three.

take off the alt cover, clean everything up with your favorite degreaser (kerosene works well here). torque down the sprocket nut to 85lbs then put some miles on it. check back after a few days and you'll be able to better identify where your leak is coming from.

Thanks for the info. I'll give that a shot and get back to ya. Is it fine to ride as long as I keep the oil level up(until I figure out what it is.)
