oil pressure 650 engine?

Can anyone tell me what the specification for oil pressure Yamaha gives for the 650 engine?

Yamaha never gave a spec for oil pressure. The only reference in the book is for the filter bypass valve. It's 14psi

Yep, oil pressure is generally a non-issue on this motor design and will vary depending on where it's measured and at what temperature - single digits to a fraction of a psi. What's important is volume - in practice if you're getting good flow at the rocker shafts, you're good to go.

Awesome info. Does anyone make a flow meter of sorts.? I'm getting low pressure readings at the Bolo bolt
in the head. I bet that's normal.

There is a restrictor orifice at the base of the oil tube. Flow at banjo is all you need.
In 71 Yamaha increased the oil pump volume by 50%. All good after that
