Overhauling the intakebox

Yeah, it's an overhaul alright.

The intakebox was the nastiest I've ever seen. The filters were rotten and smoldered in my hands, felt all gluey.

The two halves had been joined by some foam, which wasn't a very tight fit.

Where can I source the intake silencers, the rubberjoint and spring? Well I've found the rubberjoint, but I'm stilling missing the other parts.

Would appreciate a european supplier!
 
Found what I was looking for :) However. Are the intake silencers needed at all? Will not running them mean that I should rejet? The bike is a post 75.
 
The "silencers" are squarish foam pieces with long holes "drilled" into them, so the holes match the ones on the back of the airbox intake.
 
no you don't really need the silencers but I stuffed a couple of nylon pot scrubbers into my air boxes, figured they will stop small birds and gravel, does cut down on intake noise
