Ha! I totally missed that earlier, they are such cool bikes, and rare here. I love the out in the open air valve train!
Went back and took a closer look at the Nimbus. With that flatiron frame, it must have handled like a hog on ice!
It was actually a pretty solid design - they didn’t have a lot of horsepower, but they handled well - when I grew up the military and the postal service used them up until the mid 1972-75 although the last was produced in 1959 or 1960 (I grew up in Denmark). My dad had one with a sidecar for a while - I never owned one but would buy it if I could get hands on one ( but it has to be in the us - don’t want to mess with the shipping)
