My project is refurbishing my flattracker that I built and ran back in the 70's. Back in the day I had machined the crank to accept the the magneto (points) from a DT2MX (Ignition only, no lighting).
I am desiring to upgrade with 277 re-phase and Pamcopete ignition. Here lies my question, can the Pamco ignition be power supplied by the crank magneto (obviously no points). I am assuming that if the PMA system being discussed here works with the Pamco Ignition, then there is a good possibility the my configuration may as well.
Please feel free to shoot holes in my theory or offer your opinions why it will work.
