pamco question, stock coil capasitor????

Where did you find the answer?? im trying to see if you can ran a pamco with the two stock ignition coils?

While in theory it might be possible to have the pamco sensor fire both of the stock coils in parallel, the two 3.9 ohm primary coils in parallel would only have 1.95 ohms, which is to low. I believe the Pamco sensor is only rated for coils down to 2.5 ohms.

Even if you could, it wouldn't be a good idea, as those stock coils are weak coils.

If you have a Pamco, and need a coil, buy a single dual output coil, with a primary resistance of 2.5 to 4.5 ohms.

Ok, if you are converting from points to a Pamco, the condensers used with the points is not needed.
If you have a PMA and want to run without a battery then you should use a capacitor.
