pamco question?

hey just had a question i know someone on here has an answer for. i am building a set of pipes for my bike and i have pretty much welded everything off the bike because i didnt know if welding would hurt the pamco at all. i know if you leave it on to long it will burn up. maybe i am over thinking it but would rather be safe than have to buy a new pamco.

My buddy welds with it on but probably not a good idea

Not a good idea to have any electronics on the bike when welding. Welding produces very high electrical currents as well as very strong magnetic fields. You may get lucky and get away with it, but I wouldn't recommend it for the PAMCO and it will void the warranty.

i figured it wasnt good for it so didnt ever weld with the pipes on. would of just been nice for mock up you know. got the pipes done last night so hopefully wont have to weld on her ever again ha.
