I took the picture off an internet classified ad, so I don't have a measurement. I was hoping for some experience / expertise on this. Thinking because of the year and Yamaha it might be the same or interchangeable.

the one on the left looks close to mine , i have an 81 and its leaking every where, just took it off to try and fix hahaha didnt work.saw so @tc bros think it was 40.00

No. They are not interchangeable. I finally got these from a guy for a few bucks so it didn't really cost me anything. I was surprized at how much larger the 650's were than Virago's. Like about 50%. Oh well, was worth a try.
