Plug terminal nuts with PAMCO caps?

Hi Pete et al...

With PAMCO wire caps, am I supposed to be using the removable terminal nut on my plugs? I have not been... just the threaded stud... but should I be using them in general, and especially now that I'm going to Iridiums?

There are two types of caps. One is designed to work with a plug with the terminals removed and the other is designed to work with the terminals attached.

MikesXS generally supplies the type that works with the plug terminals removed.

It's pretty hard to get them mixed up because the type that works with the terminals attached will not get a grip if the terminals are removed. The type that works with the terminals removed will not connect if the terminals are still attached to the plugs.
