I used to live up in Marysville and worked at Paine Field in Everett... 10 miles right.... sometimes took me an hour to get to work. Moving to KC was a no brainer.
So the silver lining is you don't have a place. That means you are free to go ANYWHERE! And you're right that your skills are needed EVERYWHERE! As I pointed out in another post, I landed a job as a technician in a bearing factory. I had ZERO industrial maintenance experience. AND, I'm old. None of that seemed to matter. I wish you all the best. You'll come out smelling like a rose.Yeah. Luckily the house in washington is set to close in 2 weeks, the equity from that will pay off all debt. So good thing is no worries about bills soon, bad thing is I can't get a place here till I get a job. I have my resume out there, and had an interview so just waiting to hear back and see if more jobs pop up.
...Machinists are needed, so it's just doing the leg work to find the right place.
