what is the best way to powder coat the entire engine? i want to powder coat it all and i want to know what i should do and how to send it to the powder coater so it all goes smooth?

motor must be completly disassembled all bearings and seals removed then it has to be stripped down to bare metal as pc will only adhere to bare clean metal. Make sure your guy has done motors before all gasket and other mating surfaces can not get powdered also all bolt screw holes must be plugged or taped off another thing is the heat from the powder cure might make the cylinder sleeves fall out so cylinder would have to be cured while it is sideways I do my own powder coat here is a pic oy 79 cr250 dirtbike i did[/IMG]
