Question, how to remove gasket/what is this wire.

Appears to be a smaller pipe that guides my aftermarket pipes into the exhaust ports. How do i remove these?

Secondly, what wire does this go to if anythign at all? I took my bike apart over the weekend and noticed that this wire was not plugged in. I want to say the harness goes to my ignition box, but I can confirm this later.

Probably these http://www.mikesxs.net/product/07-0769.html grab with some strong pliers/vice grips, try not to deform too much, wiggle a bit side to side while pulling and twisting easily, it should pop out.

Trace the wire to point of origin. Should give an idea to where the male portion of plug is/went

The yellow wire is coming from the alternator, and going to the Safety Relay.

Thanks for the help guys, will give it another go with the torque inserts, I can turn them but they just wont come out. Gonna need some bigger pliers, gator grips, or even fabricate some type of slid hammer tool to get these boys out. Just wanted to make sure there wasn't a simpler method.

I did some more research on the yellow wire, I couldn't trace the safety relay. I don't recall having this plugged in before either. PO never used it, was never a problem to me before.
