Well, I thought I was ordering everything I needed for the Pamco ignition from Mike'sXS. I just ordered the Ultimate Pamco HIgh Output Electronoc Ignition Kit + E-Advancer. http://www.mikesxs.net/parts/yamaha...igh-output-electronic-ignition-kit-e-advancer
However, since I have a 1980 model, will I also have to order the Auto Advance Assembly? http://www.mikesxs.net/parts/yamaha-xs650-auto-advance-assy-with-center-disc-oem-256-81653-10
This is my first XS and I haven't opened the motor up yet. I have a TC Bros PMA kit with capacitor that I'm going to install also. Hopefully I won't have any issues with those 2 kits working together. I probably should have done some more research before I started ordering things. If anyone has any tips on these installs, I'd appreciate any info you could send my way.
