chopper haters beware!!
Hello all!!
I'm working with a Boyer ignition, factory rotor, the stator that is on the bike is one that has the pickup on it, but with the wires chopped off, brushes are within spec.
Did the test between slip rings and come up with 1.9...
Did the test with one lead on a slip ring, other to ground, I get nothing.
Feeler gauge test 1/2 inch away, no "slap". It will stick strongly to it if I set against it though. (does that even matter?)
Battery is new, holds charge. Does not charge at 2000rpms.
Brown wire has good power everywhere
White wires all read within spec per curlys tests
Jumped wire from green to ground, nothing changed.
I guess my rotor is bad?
