Just finished getting my new wiring done and hooked up. I went from running only one 20 amp fuse to a system that uses a 6 place ganged fuse holder.

So, everything seems to work when I turn the key on as far as light coming on, and front brake switch works fine (extra light comes on when I pull it) however it doesn't come on when I press the rear brake pedal down.

I think it's because the back brake isn't currently bled in, at all - pedal is floppy.

Just right off the bat, do you think I could assume that's the reason the rear hydraulic brake switch isn't switching? No "pressure" to do so?

It used to work before I re-did the wiring and I really haven't changed that part of the wiring anyway.

I don't want to take the time to bleed it in right now just to test this, as the wheel is coming off soon before I'll be riding it again.

So my question: would the hydraulics not being up to pressure cause a hydraulic brake light switch to not function?

thanks!
:)
