Raise/Lower Forks by amount of fork oil?

Thought I heard you could do this and then recently heard someone mention it. Was wondering how much could be gained or lost as far as height is concerned. Also, is this safe? What are the particulars of such a venture.

if i remember correctly you can change the size of spacer and adjust the fork oil to compensate which might give you some change in height... i think . but changing the amount of fork oil alone won't work

Oil won't do much for ya, but take a look here:

Adding more oil will improve fork action and help prevent brake dive. Less oil will do the opposite. No effect on ride height.
