Ok I know I know. This I'm sure has been brought up a million times but can find an exact answer. What is the exact length of a rear axle. I know I need a 20mm to work with my rear wheel. But I need an overall length of about 12" (see pics) will stock rear axle get me there? I'm building my bobber from nothing. I didn't have a complete bike when I started this build so I don't have a stock axle to see if one will fit. Thanks in advance.

Just measured mine (while installed), it's looks to be about 10.75 inches.

Btw, do you still want that top tree?

I'm not, there was somebody making them in the shops section awhile back. Not sure if he still is but maybe could make you a longer one.

Steel, SS would be best. Are you on Instagram by chance? I have someone in mind that might be able to help you out but only know him through there.

The old KZ750 twin had a longer 20mm axle. I might be able to check length later.

Watch it buddy that's gary not gray! current beard excepted.....

KZ750 twin axle prolly same as 4 cyl 750 and KZ1000 chain drive bikes.

They are both about 11 3/4" from the head's flange to start of threads, the threads are longer on the Kaw.
