I am dreaming of a rear disk brake on a spoke wheel. Omars sells parts to put front wheels on the back but you are left with a real skinny tire (and very few to choose from). I was wondering if you can buy spokes to lace a front hub (from a 19" wheel) to a rear 18" rim, and if you can buy the spokes, are the holes in both the rim and hub going to be at the correct angle for a backyard hack to just lace it up?
This is likely not a cheap prospect but if one has more money than brains......
Any thoughts?

Hello.

Try to find a 18" frontwheel from xs400. I have it on my bike and it works fine. Easyier to find some nice rubber to that one instead of a 19"

Swede - what adapter are you using to mount a front XS400 wheel on the rear?

I think the OP was referring to a wire spoke wheel.
