Rear Drum Lining

hey guys had a question sry if this has already been covered. my rear brake lining is right at its limit. is there anyway to replace it? i am pretty sure i read somewhere that it could not be? if not could i have a machine shop make something that would work well and safely? thanks mike

You don't replace the lining, you just buy complete new shoes.

there are places that do brake re-linings but as 5twins said complete new shoes would be cheaper

If you're talking about the actual drum, not the shoes, I have the same question. Is the drum itself replaceable, or do you need to get a whole new hub?

put the hub into the oven and bake it to see if the lining will drop out of the hub.
