part #06-3608. I have them installed but currently I have the swing arm off and have not had a chance to ride it. Has to be better than before though.

Ha, crash so you did. I didn't read the thread from the first (again). I've heard they ride well for heavy loads like me. I got some generic shorties off e-bay and even at the stoutest setting the wheel rubs occasionally. Wish I would have held out for the rebel shocks now.

Hey guys, so I have a stock frame and was thinking of doing this Honda Rebel 250 shock to lower the rear.

How does this effect handling ect. with basically everything else stock? Is this a safe way to lower the back end?

Hi Mikey,
it don't much matter what year Rebel they came off because they most likely didn't change much over the years.
Worst that can happen is you don't like the ride they give on your bike and you gotta go through the hassle and potential monetary loss of selling them on.
