I ordered some new fancy colored ignition wires from demons cycle as I tore a spark plug boot kick starting my bike on a wet night, but it appears that the coil and wires are one piece. Should I use this as an excuse for a better coil or is there an easy way to change these out that I'm missing?

What year bike is it? I'm pretty sure the late model, '80+ had a one piece coil, so you can't change the wires. And honestly, they're 30+ year old electrics. I would just buy a new coil and wires. Under $50.00 for all of it from Mikesxs for a stock one.

She's a 79, and got the CDI or whatever its called ignition (not points) so yeah. Whats a recommended coil if Im planning on running an open exhaust and pods with a rejet?
